Several years ago I saw first hand how dogs enjoyed getting a massage. Yes, we all know that dogs love to be petted, BUT massage is so much more then "Just petting the dog!" There are many health benefits from regular massage. An example is my little friend "Leo". Leo is a Maltese and he had some problems with his knee joint.  Like so many little dogs he could experience some pain and diffiuclty. He didn't like being brushed much either, and could be difficult at times for grooming. I took a class in Pet Massage at West Angeles Community College and when I finished I asked Leo's owner if I could give him a massage. She said yes, of course, and wow, what a difference that massage made for Leo. Since his first massage he has become easier to brush and groom, his attitude is so much better. He looks forward to his massage and grooming session. He even will turn and hold out his leg, the one with the painful knee problem for me to give special attention to it. I now call him my little "Velcro Puppy" as I have to peel him away from me when I leave. He is just one example of the benefits of massage for dogs. The owner has noticed the difference also and is pleased with the improvement for her pet.

Pet massage can be helpful  for all ages but senior pets really enjoy it, along with a warm soak in the tub to release all the tension and ease the joints. We have a really nice tub at the shop for your dog to take a nice warm bath, then get a wonderful massage. You know how good a warm bath and a massage is, so why wouldn't your pet enjoy the same? Isn't your best friend worth it?

CALL to BOOK an appointment! 323-234-4345 at the shop or
